Salou's Main Festival · 1 to 15 August

What are the Nits Daurades?

The Nits Daurades are Salou's main summer festival: fifteen nights of music, shows, processions and folk culture along the seafront, from 1 to 15 August. They draw thousands of locals and tourists every year.

The highlight was scheduled for 15 August, the Feast of the Assumption, but the closing show was suspended due to an INUNCAT red weather alert. The Town Hall has rescheduled it for Sunday 6 September: procession, maritime route and above all the Grand Fireworks Castle at 22:45, launched from Llevant Beach. It's the largest fireworks show in Salou all year — and it lasts over 20 minutes.

This is the event that draws the biggest crowd of the entire summer on the beach and promenade. That's why from the sea it's a completely different experience: clean front-row view, no one in the way, fireworks reflected on the water.
