Wreckfish

John Dory
A bottom fish highly prized for its culinary value. Common catches on wrecks.
Forkbeard
A highly sought-after deep-water species. Up to 5 kg, mild flavour and firm flesh.
Red scorpionfish
Rockfish, red scorpionfish, up to 4 kg. Star dish of Basque cuisine.
Conger
Occasional catches of large specimens (10–30 kg). An intense fight against the boat.
Common dentex and red seabream
Frequent catches over rocky bottoms. Varied sizes, excellent eating.

Casting the lines
We drop the lines with a heavy sinker to 200–500 m. The electric reels descend automatically.
Fishing and bites
We watch for bites on the reel's screen. When there's a catch, the reel hauls up automatically.
Change of fishing ground
If a fishing ground isn't producing, the skipper moves the boat to another wreck or known area.
Back to port
Return navigation with your catches. Cleaning of the boat and farewell.
