We're Israel and Jose Luis: skippers, anglers, lovers of the Mediterranean. We've spent more than a decade at sea — and since 2025 we've been doing it as Rumbo Salou, with Cristina and Mabel also part of the project.

We're not a company with a call centre. When you ring us you speak to one of us, and when you sail you go out with one of us. It's that simple.
Professional skipper with experience along the Costa Dorada coastline. He knows the coast around Salou and the surrounding spots well — coves, anchorages and corners that are best enjoyed from the sea. A solid expert on local sailing and on the conditions that suit each area best.
Israel's partner across hundreds of hours at sea. He handles confidently the different fishing modalities practised in the area, as well as the more relaxed routes around the coves. His philosophy: that guests step off the boat feeling they've experienced something different from just another tour.
Israel and Jose Luis, each on their own, grew up fishing along the Catalan coast. The hobby soon turned into a passion.
Both of us earned the required nautical licences and spent more than a decade handling professional boats on the Costa Dorada — hours, tides, storms and hundreds of trips behind us.
Israel and Jose Luis found Rumbo Salou with Cristina and Mabel also part of the project. They buy the Meridiano UNO, a Jeanneau Cap Camarat 8.5 CC, and start running private trips from Salou Marina. A decade of experience, a brand-new company.
