You may amend or withdraw your consent at any time from the settings panel:
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on the user's device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when they are accessed. They make it possible to recognise the user on subsequent visits, remember their preferences and, in certain cases, obtain information on browsing activity and consumption habits for statistical or advertising purposes.
This Cookies Policy complies with the Guidance on the use of cookies published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), updated in January 2024, and with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI — Spanish E-commerce Law).
2. Types of cookies by ownership
- First-party cookies: those managed and sent to the user's device from equipment or a domain managed by the publisher (rumbosalou.com).
- Third-party cookies: those managed and sent by an entity other than the publisher, which processes the data obtained through the cookies (for example, Google, Meta or Stripe).
3. Types of cookies by duration
- Session cookies: they collect and store data only for the duration of the session. They are deleted automatically when the browser is closed.
- Persistent cookies: the data remain stored on the device for a period of time defined by the party responsible for the cookie (days, months or years).
4. Types of cookies by purpose
- Strictly necessary (technical) cookies — exempt from consent: they enable the user to browse the site and use its basic functionalities (managing the booking, remembering the chosen language, retaining the basket, etc.).
- Preference/personalisation cookies: they remember information so that the user accesses the service with certain characteristics (language, region, number of results, etc.).
- Analytics / measurement cookies: they make it possible to quantify the number of users and to analyse their use of the site statistically.
- Behavioural advertising cookies: they store information on the user's behaviour in order to display personalised advertising.
5. Legal basis
The legal basis for the use of cookies is the user's consent, in accordance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 (LSSI — Spanish E-commerce Law) and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Strictly necessary (technical) cookies — those required to provide the service expressly requested by the user — are exempt and do not require consent.
Consent is requested by means of a cookie banner managed by the CookieYes platform on the user's first visit to the site. The user may accept all cookies, reject all of them (except the strictly necessary ones) or configure them by category.
